Reasons For Loving Container Gardening

Container gardening has made a great impact not only on landscaping but as well as in our business and commercial spaces. It is sometimes called the art of gardening. There are many benefits that we get from growing plants in pots and containers. First of all is versatility. This only means that we are free to put our plants anywhere just like on our patio, balcony, windows or rooftops. Just make sure that the plants could adopt to the environment where you have placed them. Second, you can grow any types of plant that may not be suitable on your garden soil. Remember that not all plants have the same soil needs and it also reduces the risk of transferring diseases from one plant to another.

Container gardening could also be an outlet for creativity and also adds lot of impacts for small spaces, just like the apartment dwellers, in which they don't have their own garden. It is an instant, portable landscaped look for those who move a lot. For special events, moving these containers anywhere you want them to be is also an advantage. Convenience is also another benefit of having plants on containers and pots. You could put your home grown herbs on your kitchen tables so that you could easily reach them if needed for your meals. Container gardening could also be economical because you don't always have to buy pots and planter, you could simply use your creativity. You can use almost anything for a container, from a bucket to plastic tubs. It doesn't matter, you could just put drainage holes in the bottom and with a few dollars you could make a lovely visual statement.

With container gardening you can have great results being as relaxed or ambitious as you want to be. And lastly, there is almost no plant that can't be grown in a container garden.

How To Keep Fresh Flowers Stay Longer Without Water

We have problems putting fresh flowers in our room since were afraid of water spill. I always wanted to put fresh flowers on my computer table so I can have a scenic view while I work. I made some research and discovered easy ways in keeping your flowers fresh while staying worry-free about water spill.

Hydrogel crystals are used for replacement of water in vases. It can also serve as an added decorative enhancer due to its unique crystal ball resemblance and avoid mosquitoes from laying eggs in the water. It can absorb colored water so the hydrogel crystal can change its hue and adds a colorful scheme to your glass container. To use hydrogel with flowers, first you need to put water into your crystal vase, add the hydrogels and when the crystal begins to form, add your flowers. This is easy to prepare and maintain. If the crystal becomes cloudy, rinse it off with water and bring it back into the vase. You can also buy colored hydrogel crystals in the market so don't have to use colored water.

Another way of avoiding water spill is to use plant in containers.  This gardening idea can be placed in or outside your house. It can also serve as a nice gift for people you love and keep the flowers stay longer unlike cut flowers. You can bring it to your office or any commercial establishment because it's lightweight and versatile in design. With potted plants, you can grow and collect fresh flowers anytime.
